Royal Ascot is one of the most important events of the year for the royal family and other socialites. The five days are made for socializing, horse racing and fashion.

The venue is made up of four enclosures; the Royal Enclosure, the Queen Anne Enclosure, the Village Enclosure and the Windsor Enclosure. The Queen and the rest of the Royal Family sit in the Royal Enclosure and the Windsor Enclosure is the cheapest enclosure to enter.

The Queen would usually attend Ascot, but it was questioned whether she would attend this year due to mobility issues. In 2021, the Queen missed the first day of Royal Ascot after making tiring trips the week before attending Trooping the Color and the G7 summit.

This year, the Queen may have had an even busier few weeks, as she attended several events to celebrate her platinum jubilee. This could mean she misses the first day of Ascot, but Buckingham Palace has yet to make an announcement.

The Queen is known to enjoy Royal Ascot as she has a deep fondness for horses. She recently attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show which was part of her platinum jubilee celebrations.

The show featured over 500 horses and was a mix of music, pageantry and horse shows. The Queen could be seen visibly smiling and clapping from her seat. Celebrities such as Tom Cruise and Dame Helen Mirren also attended the evening.

However, the Queen has also canceled some recent trips. She missed the Epsom Derby on June 4 due to mobility issues and discomfort and a Thanksgiving service on June 3.
