Warner Bros. ‘ Upcoming ‘Superman’ movie will focus on a black Superman

Warner Bros. and DC devote themselves to finding a black director to lead their next Superman movie. It will also be the first cinematic incarnation of Superman to be portrayed by a black actor. We already know that Ta-Nehisi Coates is writing the screenplay and JJ Abrams is producing, but we have yet to find out who will be directing.
According to Hollywood journalist, Abrams is not considered a director in addition to his duties as a producer. A source said the decision to put Abrams at the helm would be “dull” given the matter. As Marvel continues its search for a Blade director, DC has already started courting buzzing filmmakers, including Regina King (One night in Miami), Shaka King (Judah and the Black Messiah) and Steven Caple Jr. (Creed II). But there’s also the possibility that a newcomer could get his big break, backed by Abrams.
An agent said that the search for a director by Warner Bros. and DC was performing “phenomenally early” in the production process. Coates’ Superman the script is not expected until mid-december this year, but THRThe report claims the film will take place outside of the rest of the DC Extended Universe, which is home to the Justice League, Wonder woman, Sparkle, and Shazam movies. There were rumors that Michael B. Jordan would dress like Warner Bros. ‘following Superman, but the actor recently put those to rest. “I am flattered that people are accompanying me in this conversation,” Jordan said Hollywood journalist. “It’s really a compliment, but I’m just looking at this one.”
Like these new developments continue to come, we are excited to see who will be selected to bring a new kind of Superman story to life.
