Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford have traveled back in time in the first trailer for their upcoming “Yellowstone” prequel, “1923.”
The 30-second trailer for the upcoming Paramount+ drama reveals some glimpses of Mirren and Ford as Cara and Jacob Dutton, the modern Duttons’ predecessors in “Yellowstone.”
“Violence has always haunted this family. He followed us from the Scottish Highlands and the slums of Dublin, and he followed us here,” a narrator explains in the trailer as the eerie music builds. “And where it doesn’t follow, we track it. We are looking for him.
The grainy teaser for “1923” shows Ford and Mirren in the center of the action, with Ford riding a horse against a western backdrop and Mirren, his face seemingly bloodied, pointing a gun at someone off-camera.
