Saoirse-Monica Jackson Teases ‘The Flash’ Mystery Character
The entire production cycle of DC the flash was complicated and shrouded in mystery. Fortunately, Saoirse-Monica Jackson shed some light. We still don’t know exactly who she is, but we have some clues about her character’s temperament. Apparently, Warner Bros. always tries to keep this project secret as much as possible.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Jackson talked a bit about his yet-unknown character. She says:
“I’m so scared of Warner Bros. I’m so glad I got the part that I’m so scared to talk about it in case I get fired. So I can’t tell you anything right now, but I I’m really excited to play her. She’s a really fun and interesting character and a very different character to anything I’ve played in the past. I’ve worked with some amazing people and loved the experience.
It’s not much, but knowing what we already know about the film, there are a few options. First off, it could be any character mentioned in the DCEU timeline so far. Second, she could be anyone from the Tim Burton Batman universe, since we know Michael Keaton’s Batman is going to be a pretty big part of the movie. She could be Catwoman, Poison Ivy, or really a ton of other people from Batman’s rogues gallery.
They could also be characters from Barry Allen’s own universe, leading some people to speculate that she could play The Golden Glider. She is a supervillain, who has already appeared in seasons one and two of The CWs the flash. The Golden Glider is an Olympic-level figure skater, who has skates that allow her to move quickly on any surface, including in the air. She also uses an arsenal of deadly gadgets.
Only time will tell who Jackson ends up playing, and since she wasn’t in any of the trailers, chances are we’ll have to wait for the movie to come out. After some good delays, it looks like the final release date has landed on June 23, 2023.
