Robert Pattinson Teases ‘Surprises’ From ‘The Batman’ At DC FanDome
Robert Pattinson, who plays the Caped Crusader in Matt Reeves’ The batman, gave fans a hint on what we can expect to see at the DC FanDome virtual event in October. On the Academy Museum’s first night out, Pattinson announced that the new images posted online will be full of “surprises” and will also feature Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman.
“Me and Zoe [Kravitz] does stuff. It’s a funny little thing, ”said Pattinson Variety. “There are plenty of little surprises for that. While this tidbit doesn’t reveal too much, it piques our curiosity as to what the exclusive clip will contain. Pattinson also confirmed that he was able to watch part of the film, which will be released next year. “I’ve seen part of the movie now and it’s pretty cool,” Pattinson said. “It’s really cool.”
The Academy Museum is located on the LACMA campus in a 300,000 square foot space, with several exhibits showcasing iconic memorabilia from film history. The museum also includes a large cinema hall which will organize regular screenings. When asked if he would consider donating one of his own artifacts from his acting career, he jokingly replied, “Oh my God, I want to keep most of it. [of them], so I can sell them when I’m broke.
With a bit of luck, The BatmanThe DC FanDome segment will reveal a bit more about the plot of the film. So far, details have been kept under wraps. We know Pattinson and Kravitz will be joined onscreen by Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Barry Keoghan, Jayme Lawson, Andy Serkis and Colin Farrell. We also know that Reeves’ intention as a director was to make this the “most touching” Batman movie in history.
The virtual and completely free DC FanDome will take place on October 16. The batman hits theaters on March 4, 2022.
