Patricia Ann Hay, 92, Warren, IN passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Heritage Pointe of Warren.

Patricia was born November 6, 1929 in Huntington, IN to Ira and Mary E. (McNulty) Miller. Her parents preceded her in death. She married Marvin L. Hay on July 14, 1956 and he predeceased her on November 6, 2001.

Patricia graduated from Huntington High School. She was a telephone operator for 30 years for Indiana Bell Telephone Company in Huntington, Marion and Bloomington and retired in 1981. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America, St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Rosary Sodality.

Patricia is survived by one daughter, Tammy (Jerry) Arnold, Bluffton, IN; two sisters, Helen Martin, CA, Genevieve Kasper, IN; grandchildren, Gina (Shane) Karst Souder, Petroleum, IN, Julie (Brian) Karst Davenriner, Markle, IN, Nick (Jaimie) Karst, Markle, IN, Jarrod (partner Marissa) Karst, Bluffton, IN, Keith Karst, Bluffton, IN, Ben (Brianna) Arnold, Zanesville, IN, and Eric Miley, Adam Miley, both of Evansville, IN.

Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one son, Tim Hay; one daughter, Maralee Ann Hay Hunt; five brothers, Fr. Paul Miller, Ed Miller, Bill Miller, Bob Miller, Jim Shafer; four sisters, Jeanne Young, Ann Berger, Fran Bonewitz and Marguerite Hyser.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN, with Fr. Thomas Zehr presiding .

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made at St. Mary’s Catholic Church or Huntington County Humanitarian Shelter in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN, 46750.
