When it comes to beauty, Lakshmi said that “like all that is powerful, beauty is a double-edged sword.” She believes that society tends to put women in the spotlight by setting unrealistic expectations on them. “We expect them to be smart, sexy, kind and ambitious, but not too much ambitious, ”she explained.
This isn’t the first time Lakshmi has spoken about beauty on the inside, however.
