Hundreds of pro-Donald Trump supporters burst into the United States Capitol on a day when the United States Congress convened to officially certify Joe Biden as the winner of the presidential election. The protesters’ action led to violence in the House of Representatives.
Trump is set to leave office as soon as he lost the presidential election to Biden, who will soon take over. Although Trump has urged an end to the violence, he has reportedly promoted the protesters’ actions. As a result, some of his tweets have been deleted. His Facebook account was also blocked for 24 hours.
