Latest Fast 9 star puts ladies in the spotlight
There’s a new trailer just released for the last one Fast and furious movie, but this one is a little different. Instead of focusing on the angst of Dom’s family, Roman’s one-liners, or crazy stunts like a Fiero taking to orbit, we see something truly epic – the prominent female power that’s a big part. of Fast 9.
The clip opens with Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, tearing it apart on a dirt bike. Rodriguez is arguably the franchise’s most prominent female member, but Jordana Brewster, as Mia, is finally getting some long-awaited screen time in the action sense, as we see her atop the top of the line. ‘A scary APC saving someone from a grizzly bear death. Charlize Theron’s Cipher is also back to wreak havoc, and Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey will do more than just hack computers this time around. We don’t know how important Helen Mirren‘s role as Queenie is, but it’s Absolutely cool to see her driving with the boys.
Of course, we should have seen all of this last year, but COVID-19 had other ideas. The release date has been delayed several times until 2020 and even 2021, although the current theatrical release of June 25 seems set in stone at this point. By now, everyone knows that John Cena will enter the fray as the long-lost (and seemingly evil) brother Jakob, and he’s working with Cipher to some extent with the goal of simply making his brother’s life miserable. .
Their battle will involve oversized magnets that can shoot vehicles through buildings, futuristic jets that can catch cars in the air, cars get in the air, and the Pontiac Fiero tied to the aforementioned space. And we still don’t know how Sung Kang’s character Han came back from the dead, but with his return, we’re hoping Gal Gadot will return for future films as Gisele as well.
When movie screens light up on June 25, moviegoers should take a hell of a ride.
