Judith A. (Snook) Knepp, 80, from Yeagertown, died at 5:54 a.m. on Friday, May 7, 2021 at her home
Born October 4, 1940 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late William J. Snook, Sr. and Mildred L. (Bubb) Snook and the granddaughter of Jay and Florence Snook and Carl and Mary Bubb. Besides her parents and grandparents, Judith was also predeceased by her husband, Gordon E. Knepp, who died on March 18, 2004, and her brother William J. Snook, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Kevin G. Knepp, Sr. and wife Gloria of Jeffersonville, Indiana; Robin M. Hunt and her husband Thomas, Sr. of Forest Hill, Maryland: Teresa A. Knepp of Yeagertown; Brian E. Knepp and his wife Connie of Yeagertown and Lori Ellen Stumpff and her husband Edward of Belleville; her grandchildren, Melissa Guss and her husband Phillip, Kevin Knepp, Jr. and her husband Paul, Thomas Hunt, Jr. and her fiance Gabriella, Sarah Bender and her husband Andrew, Laura Renninger and her husband Shawn, Gordon Hunt, Erin Knepp and her fiance Travis, Rachel Kretsch and her husband Matthew, Molly Stumpff and Clayton Stumpff; great-grandchildren, Logan, Travis and Allison Renninger; Zoey, David, Gracelyn and Noah Kretsch; Lincoln Doss, Ruth, Jacob and Helen Bender and Hannah and Cameron Guss; and her sister, Helen Gesselman and her husband Robert of Beavertown.
Judith was an active life member of Yeagertown United Methodist Church.
For many years, Judith was the leader of the Junior Girl Scouts in the old town. She also loved camping and most importantly, spending time with her family.
A funeral service in memory of Judith will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown with Pastors Steven Small and Thomas Morningstar to officiate. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
Wearing a mask will be compulsory.
Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville.
