Full House, New Jersey stars react to Bob Saget’s death
New Jersey and the rest of the world were taken by surprise yesterday when we learned of the passing of Bob Saget.
This loss definitely touched me. It’s unfair that a little over a week after losing Betty White, we also lose Bob Saget.
Just like you reading this, I spent hours watching him as Danny Tanner in Full house, and as a host of America’s Funniest Home Videos. In fact, it was actually Bob Saget who made me understand, at a young age, that actors can work in more than one series. (I literally said “Hey mom, daddy on Full house looks a lot like the host of America’s Funniest Home Videos!)
Who could forget him as Danny Tanner iconically dusting his vacuum cleaner?
It’s clear that Bob was loved by so many people, especially his co-stars. It was only a matter of time before his Full house His comrades paid him touching tributes on social networks.
Bob Saget has also played an important role in the lives of many here in New Jersey. I scoured the Facebook pages of 92.7 WOBM and our sister stations 94.3 the Point, 105.7 the Hawk and Beach Radio to find your reactions to this unfortunate death.
You’ll also find reactions from some of your favorite Townsquare personalities.
Take a look at your candid thoughts on the loss of America’s father Bob Saget. And keep on scrolling to find Candace Cameron Bure (DJ Tanner), Dave Coulier (Uncle Joey) and John Stamos (Uncle Jesse), statements about their beloved co-star. I have to admit they make me cry right now.
