Feminism, diversity, emancipation: L’Oréal Paris returns with a live show staged in a significant place | Life

PARIS, September 23 – Cosmetics giant L’Oréal Paris will organize the fourth edition of its “Le Défilé” fashion show on October 3 during Paris Fashion Week. The show will take place on the Human Rights Square in the French capital, a place steeped in history, but also rich in symbolism, chosen to highlight the company’s many commitments to women around the world. Open to all, the biggest fashion show in the world will also be broadcast on social networks.

One of the world’s most prestigious and coveted catwalks will be back at the next Paris Fashion Week. The next L’Oréal Paris fashion show, bringing together many of the brand’s ambassadors, will be held on October 3, at 3 p.m. (CET), in the heart of the French capital. The cosmetics giant had already organized its show in impressive places like the Monnaie de Paris. But this year, the firm strikes even harder by choosing a place rich in historical importance, the Human Rights Square, an esplanade overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Taking its name from “human rights”, the French wording of the square literally translates to “human rights”. It will thus be renamed for the occasion “Square of Human and Women’s Rights”, putting women on an equal footing.

L’Oréal Paris has been supporting women on a daily basis for decades, and by choosing this location, the brand wishes to highlight its many commitments to women around the world. The fashion show will be structured around the themes of diversity, inclusion, empowerment, confidence, assertiveness and self-expression – values ​​defended by the brand through its campaigns. , its spokespersons and several of its initiatives, such as the ‘Stand Up Against Street Harassment’ Training Program.

“This year’s Parade will be a remarkable platform for women’s empowerment, conveying a strong message of self-esteem and disrupting typical parade conventions by inviting the public to join the Stand Up Against Street Harassment program. Celebrating our feminine and feminist vision, the parade will be a rallying cry for all women and also men – who share these convictions, ”said Delphine Viguier-Hovasse, Global President of the L’Oréal Paris brand, in a statement.

Once again, the show will be open to everyone and will feature several L’Oréal Paris ambassadors in outfits signed by the biggest names in fashion. Katherine Langford, Helen Mirren, Camila Cabello, Gemma Chan, Yseult, Nidhi Sunil, Aja Naomi King, Camille Razat, Jaha Dukureh, Liya Kebede, Cindy Bruna, Soo Joo Park and Luma Grothe are among the spokespersons who will attend the event, showcasing the creations of Balmain, Elie Saab, Mugler, Issey Miyake, Koché and Ester Manas.
