F9’s Helen Mirren is thrilled to drive a car in Fast and Furious
Fast and furious is filled with high-speed car chases and speed action, but not all characters in the long-running movie franchise have had a chance to get behind the wheel yet.
Luckily for Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren, who plays criminal mastermind Magdalene Shaw in the movies, the upcoming F9 Finally saw her fulfill her dream as Magdalene is seen riding a fast car.
F9 marks Mirren’s third appearance as Magdalene, who is the mother of Deckard (Jason Statham), Owen (Luke Evans) and Hattie (Vanessa Kirby), and the actress said AND that she savored every second of it.

“I finally did, yes!” she said of her driving experience. “And what a car! And what a ride, in the Mall in London! It was the coolest thing ever.
“With Vin (Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto) next to [me]! Driving it, I mean, it was fantastic! And I really know how to do a double clutch. And an incredible car. It was a dream. It was fantastic.”
We already got a quick glimpse of the scene in which Magdalene drives Dom through the streets of London in a purple sports car in one of the movie trailers, and she certainly looks like she’s having fun doing it. turn the car.

F9 will bring together the current incarnation of the Fast Furious gang, including Dom, Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez), Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson), Tej Parker (Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges), Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster) and Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel).
Han Lue (Sung Kang), a gang member presumed dead since his car crash in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, while Charlize Theron’s villainous Cypher will also be back.
Make his Fast Furious start is The suicide squad Star John Cena, who takes on the role of Jakob, Dom and Mia’s long-missing brother – and Jakob apparently didn’t get the memo about the importance of family because he wants revenge on Dom.
The first opinions for F9, which is run by franchise veteran Justin Lin, has just arrived, and luckily for fans, the reception from critics has been generally quite positive.
Fast and Furious 9 releases in US theaters on June 25 and in UK theaters on July 8.
