DC Supergirl Sasha Calle in “The Flash” Signs With CAA (EXCLUSIVE)
Sasha calle, who’s next to play the role of Super girl in CC‘s “The Flash”, signed with CAA.
“The Flash” – set to hit theaters on November 4, 2022 – will mark Calle’s first feature film. In the DC Comics universe film, Calle stars alongside Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck, Michael Keaton, and Kiersey Clemons. Christina Hodson, who wrote the “Transformers” spin-offs “Bumblebee” and “Birds of Prey,” wrote the latest version of the script.

Director Andy Muschietti broke the news of Calle’s casting by posting a moving video on Instagram, where the actor finds out on camera that she has landed the role.
“Little me would be like, ‘No way’,” she said, through tears. “I’m probably not going to stop crying all day.”
Calle is said to have beaten over 400 actors for the role of superhero, becoming the first Latina to play Supergirl. Helen Slater donned the red and blue super costume in the Warner Bros. movie. from 1984; Laura Vandervoort played the role in CW’s “Smallville” from 2007-2011; and Melissa Benoist have wrapped up production on her six-year-old Warner Bros. television series “Supergirl.” earlier this year.
Prior to landing the epic role, Calle starred as Lola Rosales in “The Young and the Restless,” winning a Daytime Emmy nominee for his work in 2020. The actor landed the role straight out of the College & Conservatory of The Performing Arts by AMDA. She is also a singer-songwriter and released her first song, a soulful cover of Lauryn Hill’s “Ex-Factor” in 2020.
