A security guard makes a mistake on Drag Queen for Lady Gaga at a concert
Don’t be a brake, just be a queen!
Popular Brazilian drag queen and Lady Gaga impersonator Penelopy Jean confused fans and security guards at the pop star’s Chromatica Prom tour in Miami over the weekend, where the performer was actually mistaken for the “Rain on Me” singer.
Penelopy Jean caught the attention of many and found herself in several viral social media posts during the eventful and rainy final show of the tour on September 17.
In a TikTok that has been viewed more than 4 million times, Penelopy Jean walks through a crowd of cheering fans, escorted by a security guard who seems to believe the drag queen is the real deal.
“I’m a drag queen!” Penelopy Jean yells at her, but the warden—watching in sheer confusion—can’t seem to decide whether he believes her or not.
It probably didn’t help that Penelopy Jean was dressed in a black costume similar to one of Gaga’s stage costumes for the tour.

Penelopy Jean is known for creating bizarre looks for Lady Gaga, and many Little Monsters – Gaga’s fan base – know of the drag star’s work.
“Dollar Tree Gaga? Mama is YOU Penelopy Jean put some respect on her name,” another fan wrote on Twitter.
On Gaga’s “Poker Face,” Penelopy Jean previously participated in the TikTok shoe transition trend, which shows the drag queen transitioning into a full Gaga outfit.

Gaga herself even once met the drag queen, as seen on Penelopy Jean’s Instagram in June 2019.
“Dreams do come true! Believe it. Thank you @ladygaga,” Penelopy Jean captioned a photo of the couple posing together at one of Gaga’s Vegas events.
Meanwhile, Gaga was unfortunately unable to complete her concert in Miami on Saturday night due to stormy weather.
The singer posted a tearful video on Instagram apologizing to fans.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t finish the show…it was too dangerous…the lightning was unpredictable and changing from moment to moment, I love you. Listen, for years, some of between you called me ‘monster mother’, in my heart I knew it was better to protect you,” she wrote in another Instagram post.
